Etched into the landscape and sitting exposed through the layers of the ages, the henges of the British isles are like brandings of a lost identity. 
Gathering places, places of worship, astrological tools, whatever they were, spending time around one makes you view the lay of the lands and settlements surrounding them in a different way. Piecing together a network that exists as a ghost behind the roads, villages, towns and cities we travel and gather in now.
